Parent Participation
Lake Elmo Baseball Association is built entirely by volunteers. There are no paid staff — every registration processed, every field lined, and every tournament run happens because parents and community members step up and give their time. It takes a tremendous amount of work to keep this organization running well, and we're grateful for every hand that helps.
How You Can Help
There are opportunities to get involved throughout the season and during the off-season. Some examples include:
- Fundraising — Helping organize and promote fundraising initiatives that keep participation costs manageable for all families
- Field Improvements & Preparation — Assisting with field maintenance, pre-game prep, and post-game cleanup
- Practice & Training Support — Helping coaches run efficient practices and skill-building sessions
- Scorekeeping & Refreshments — Keeping the game running smoothly and the dugout fueled
- Communication & Carpooling — Helping coordinate team communications and travel logistics for families
New in 2026
With the addition of our first-ever fall tryout cycle, there are more opportunities than ever to get involved early. If you're interested in helping with tryout coordination, field setup, or communication efforts this fall, please reach out to your team's Head Coach or any board member.
A Few Important Notes
All parent participation throughout the year is unconditional and intended for the betterment of Lake Elmo Baseball Association. Volunteering does not influence team selection — our Team Selection Policy is upheld each season without exception.
Don't be afraid to share your ideas or ask how you can help. These contributions are crucial to your team's success, the quality of our program, and most importantly, the experience we create for our players.

Many thanks to all those who have helped in the past — and to all who want to help in the future.
— Lake Elmo Baseball Association Board of Directors
