ABOUT LAKE ELMO BASEBALL

Lake Elmo Baseball Association provides a competitive baseball opportunity for boys ages 9U–14U who live or attend school within Stillwater School District 834. What began as a grassroots community program has grown into one of the area's most respected youth baseball organizations — built entirely by volunteer coaches, parents, and board members who believe in the game and the kids who play it.

Our Program

As a Lake Elmo Baseball player, you'll work hard, compete at a high level, and strive for continuous improvement throughout the season. We teach quality baseball in a competitive environment and hold our players, coaches, and families to a standard of discipline, good sportsmanship, and respect — both on the field and off. We win with grace and lose with dignity.

League Competition

Lake Elmo Baseball teams compete in the Gopher State Baseball League, which provides some of the best youth baseball competition in the state. Each team plays a 16-game league schedule plus league playoffs. Head Coaches also schedule weekend tournaments throughout the spring and summer, with most teams participating in 3 to 4 tournaments per season. For more information, visit myas.org.

Fall Tryouts — New for 2026

Starting in 2026, Lake Elmo Baseball is holding tryouts in the fall for the first time. This gives families earlier clarity on team placement and more time to prepare heading into the season. Click here to view upcoming tryouts.

Coaching

The Board of Directors selects the Head Coach for each team. Head Coaches are then responsible for selecting their Assistant Coaches. All coaches are chosen for their baseball knowledge, experience, and commitment to player development.

Players must live or attend school within Stillwater School District 834 boundaries to be eligible to make a team.
