Each spring, following the Winter Workouts, players will be evaluated and scored on multiple repetitions of various baseball fundamentals.  The evaluators are experienced Baseball Coaches chosen by our Board of Directors.  We select players based on talent, attitude, and intensity.

The AAA Team for a given age group will consist of the 12 highest ranking, eligible players, who are Registered with Lake Elmo Baseball Association, and have participated in our Winter Workout / Try-out Sessions.

The AA Team for a given age group will consist of the next 12 highest ranking, eligible players, who are Registered with Lake Elmo Baseball Association, and have participated in our Winter Workout / Try-out Sessions.

Within the league rules, a player may Register and be added to a Lake Elmo Baseball Team Roster without having participated in our Winter Workout / Try-out Sessions.  This may be done to fill a roster vacancy and is done at the discretion of our Board of Directors and the coaches of a particular team.
